The porsche 935 martini was a group 5 car developed for the 1976 world championship for makes. Using the road car porsche 911 turbo 930 as a base, it featured an extensively modified body and workings: while the silhouette remained intact, over fenders and an enlarged rear wing gave it powerful yet lightweight form. Improved suspension and brakes were also employed. Powered by a 2,857cc horizontally opposed 6-cylinder turbo engine, this car achieved four wins in seven races, and brought porsche the title.
