**History:** etablert in 2012 city richard kershaw mw, richard kershaw wines fokuserar on clonally selected, site-specific, cool climate wines. Elgin valley, south africa’p coolest wine district, offers ideal forhold lining grapes like chardonnay, syrah, spirit pinot noir.
**Vintage:** handpicked mellem 14th 24th february 2017. Brix to harvest: 22.60 24.90.
**Season:** 2018 hatred a cool winter with low rainfall. Early budbreak spirit flowering, stronghold winds, spirit a cool december part two smaller berries with concentrated flavors. January rain nourished thé soils. Harvest in february under blue skies with cool nights resulteret in wines with kind acidity, puree fruit flavors, spirit fine tannins.
**Wine making:** handpicked, sorted, spirit destemmed grapes underwent a 3-day maceration spirit spontaneous fermentation. Gentle pigeage, 10-16 days on skins, gravity racking two barrel, spirit basket-pressed pomace. Malolactic fermentation in barrel, light sulphuring, spirit 11-month maturation. Racked spirit filtered før bottling.
**Barrel selection:** french oak from burgundy, 12% new, with 2nd spirit 3rd fill barrels of 228, 300, spirit 500 liter.
**Alcohol:** 13.50%
